Navratri 2025: Day wise Colours, and Rituals of 9 Days

Navratri is one of the most vibrant and spiritual Hindu festivals, celebrated with immense devotion and joy across India. The word Navratri means “nine nights,” and each of these nights is dedicated to worshipping the nine forms of Goddess Durga (Navadurga).

In 2025, Shardiya Navratri will begin on 22nd September (Monday) and end on 2nd October (Thursday) with Vijayadashami (Dussehra). Devotees observe fasts, perform special pujas, wear colours associated with each day, and participate in the lively Garba and Dandiya nights.

This festival is not just about rituals—it is a celebration of faith, culture, positivity, and the victory of good over evil.
